Prayer for Today

Today I’m going to see a fertility specialist for an evalution for recurrent miscarriages. This passage of scripture really spoke to me this week and it’s my prayer for today…

Excerpts from Psalm 143 (NKJV): A Psalm of David.

1 Hear my prayer, O LORD,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
5 I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
6 I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. Selah
7 Answer me speedily, O LORD;
My spirit fails!
8 Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For I lift up my soul to You.
10 Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Sorry about my insensitive text just now! I am praying for you and I am looking forward to catching up with you tomorrow over the phone. Remember when we got pedicures together? That was so fun. I wish you were closer so we could go get a pedi tomorrow. I need one bad! Love you friend!

Hi,
Just wanted to invite you over to my new home if I haven’t already, to share my stories of what God has done in my life. Someone called me a spammer, I guess I could be called that. Spamming for Jesus… http://www.drunkdreamer8.com

What a beautiful passage to meditate on. I am sorry for your losses and I do hope that the Lord will grant you the desires of your heart. As a fellow mama who has also endured loss, and experienced a long season of infertility, I can totally relate to where you are at. If I may encourage you, it is to strive to be thankful. I know, “Thankful? Really?” But, I have just seen that when it feels kind of hopeless around me, if I can begin to focus on all that I am thankful for, I start to see where God has been faithful, and I start to remember that He is Trustworthy. I rejoice in knowing that you have a child! That is such a gift, and I will pray that you get to have many more.

Hang in there!

Thanks for your prayers, you guys! The appt. went well, we liked the doc. Having some more blood work done and then we’ll go from there.
He also added a Rx for extra folate to my prenatals & asprin.

@Ali- thanks for your encouragement. I am really thankful. Knowing that He’s already given me a child is something I hang on to like crazy; it gives me hope!

I’m so glad you have joined us over at mama manifesto! I have also suffered from recurrent miscarriages. It has been horribly devastating at times. I hope you are able to find some comfort in the midst of it.
