I stumbled upon your blog by accident, and found the diaper sprayer. (Which I am VERY excited about) I been poking around now for a little while and I have to admit- I love it! As it happens, I am picking up my bumgenius 3.0 diapers tomorrow. My son will be 1 at the end of the month, dont ask me what took me so long to honker down and make the switch- I guess I was super overwhelmed by the cloth diapering experience. Where does one start ya know? Anywho... I just wanted to share a product called Charlies Soap with you, maybe you've heard about it or used it, I dont really know, but a friend of mine raves about it for her cloth diapers.

Congratulations on bringing home the precious new baby boy!

I love these helpful tips. I get my diapers Wed and I'm so excited. Who knew you could be excited about diapers? I ordered the Allen's Naturally detergent that was recommended for the Fuzzi Bunz. I definitely have to pick up some Baby Oxi and I have to try those flushable liners. I'm going to use Seventh Generation disposables for when we're out. I want to try Bumgenius and gDiapers if all goes well. I originally was going to go just straight gDiapers, but the thought the expense was too much as well. Diapers.com is a great site. It's great that you can sew and make your own liners. I need to lean how to sew. I was going to get those flushable wipes. Right now I'm using cloth wipes and the California Baby Diaper Area Wash for pee clean up and Seventh Generation wipes for poop clean up. That also leads me to my response about your suggestion to use California Baby. I like their prodcuts. I can't wait to use it for me. I developed postpartum eczema. Weird things happen to your body after having a child. I was using Aveeno baby products for Drayden and then I started using them for myself as well. I want to make the switch to California Baby for himand I. Kiss My Face is a good line and you can find it at Target. I like that you can get California Baby at Target. They just added Born Free to Target too. It's too bad that Babiesrus can't step it up on the organic and cloth diapering department. I noticed the other day that they carried doubler inserts, but not sure if it was a good brand. I'm going to try using the Fuzzi Bunz terry inserts and prefolds for now. I'll let you know how it goes.
