I’ve sort of been in a state of blissful ignorance regarding politics lately, but you can only avoid the issue of an impending election for so long…
I found this cool article comparing the two candidates on green issues. I know where I stand as far as values, human dignity, ethics, etc, but on environmental issues I don’t necessarily stand with a party allegiance. I found this article interesting because it pointed out the good and bad stances each candidate takes on the environment.

Here’s something I like about each candidate on this issue:
- I like Obama’s stance finding/using renewable energy sources.
- I like how McCain leans against corn subsidies.

Ooohh green politics! I love this post! I have been following the election coverage closely. I watched both conventions. I love this breakdown on green issues. I will say that I felt I had gravitated toward a particular candidate originally, but I was very impressed with the Palin and McCain speeches. I felt sincerity came across in their speeches, despite their political game faces. In regard to green issues, I’m mainly concerned about Obama being able to carry through with his promises. I like that McCain and Palin have a record of making things happen. I can’t wait for the debates!
