		<description>I couldn&#039;t agree with you more.  I have never shopped the day after Thanksgiving for the reasons you mentioned.  I feel like I&#039;m giving in to the consumerism.  Of course I purchase gifts for Christmas, but I never do it the day after Thanksgiving, and I don&#039;t buy too many things for my son.  Only things like educational toys that will help him learn and a few clothing items that he may need.  We try to keep it very simple.   I love the idea of Make Something Day.  My son is very young right now, but eventually I would love to incorporate this into our traditions.</description>
