They're holding up great, Katie. I'm not sure about little fingers because mine is too young (22 months) to try, but I don't have too hard of a time opening them. They have stayed securely shut which is great, and I don't think stainless steel rusts which is also great. There are a few tiny spots which look like rust on the Due, but my husband thinks it's just discoloration from welding the separator piece in. So overall, I really like them!

I'm curious to know how these are holding up? And can little fingers (K and up) get the lids off? And back on securely? Is there any rust type issue?

So awesome! I us switched to glassware, but Stainless steel is so much better for travel and lunches!
