First of all, I want to congratulate the winner of the Lunapads giveaway; it’s Annie! I’ll be forwarding your information on and you should be contacted soon! And I promise I used random.org to get the winner, but lemme just say that Annie just happens to be my dear friend and she should be double congratulated because she just had a baby a few days ago!! 
And now, I wanted to share with you a little project I’ve been working on for a while. I know some of you were wondering about the “safer” personal care products that I’ve tried, and I’ve actually been keeping track of them for some time.
I have a document I’ve “published” that I will be continually updating as I try and review products. {I actually have several to add that aren’t on there yet- as you’ll see below}. You’ll find a button in the sidebar that will link to the document and it will automatically be “re-published” as I update it!
If you have any reviews of products that you’ve tried, I’d be happy to list them in my spreadsheet (linking to you of course). Just email your reviews, with info in each category I have listed on my sheet, to gidgetblog[at]gmail[dot]com.
Real quick, to answer Linda’s question, I’ve been using Avalon Organics’ Vitamin C line for my daily face regiment (cleanser and moisturizer). They rate a 5 on the hazard scale which isn’t that great, but also not as bad as some. My defense in using such a high-scoring product is that the company has signed the Safe Cosmetics Act (more on that later) and they are fragranced with orange essential oils and it smells just like a fresh orange. I totally want to eat it.
All that to say, I’m still learning and working through this, too. That’s why my button says it’s a search. I hope you’ll join me and pursue a safer and healthier beauty regiment! Click the button to check out my reviews so far.

Hey…I made the shared items list. Cool. So far the socks are working out great. They’ve washed well with the fabric paint and there is no slipping on our hardwoods or linoleum floors. Sorry random post to put this comment.
