I've seen this book and known I had to read it at some point--the crazyness of being Mama, wife, and the hundred other hats we wear can allow us to slip little by little, not realizing that time with Jesus has been forsaken and isn't top priority anymore... What a great review and giveaway! (I followed Amy Lathrop’s link on Facebook). Please include me in your giveaway. I was raised in a Christian family, and my parents did a great job of focusing on God and faith in our daily lives. Unfortunately, I have slid in my daily devotions for quite a while and now find it hard to really focus on ministering to my faith let alone encouraging our growing family in faith. I would LOVE to read this book and complete the study guides at the end of the chapters in an effort to refocus/rebalance my life (pregnant – yeah!!, 2 year old, hubby, housework, consulting, etc). One step at a time – right? Next will be finding a church that both my husband and myself BOTH like! We keep saying we are going to go, and we keep letting life get in the way. We need to make some changes, and at least I have the power to start with myself.
