With the kitchen finished, and the house in a reasonable state we had our housewarming party on Sunday.
We decided to have a brunch, because I thought it would be fun to use some yummy recipes I have been saving up.
We had tea, coffee and orange juice to drink, croissants with ham, cheese and tomato, banana muffins, blueberry muffins, coffee cake, and lots of fruit.
The blueberry muffins are amazing, and Gidget is the one who told me about the recipe, the coffee cake was a huge success because you make it the night before, refrigerate it and bake it in the morning! Perfect for upcoming holiday celebrations (yes it really is almost fall!)
Wish you all could have come, and seen the new kitchen! You will have to bake yourselves some coffee cake from me!
