I’ve been trying to find time to craft amidst the stuff of life. Here are a few recent projects I’ve finished…
A dress for our dear neighbor friend, modeled by Chiquita {pattern drafted by my mom}…

A bath mat {pattern from SouleMama‘s Handmade Home}…

And a mini Mei-Tai for Chiquita’s “Molly the Dolly” at her request {will be perfect when mommy is wearing a new baby around all the time someday in the near future– sorry for multiple shots of this, but they were all too cute not to post}…

My sewing to-do list is still long and I’ve been desperately wanting to really learn to knit lately. I have a couple of prospective teachers so hopefully I can get going soon!

I know your sewing list in long, but how much would it cost to get one of those Mei-tai’s for Ellie? She is always asking me to wrap her baby like I wrap her sister and her soon to be new sibling? I would love to get one from you.
Thanks!
Leah
Awesome! Any color- she is not picky. No, I’m not pregnant. We are adopting. We have around a 3 to 4 month wait at this point. We are praying for your adoption as well! Blessings! Leah
oh duh! adoption! I did know about that! i’ll keep you posted on the mei-tai in the etsy shop!
thank you for praying!
I learned to knit while I was on mod. bed rest from Anna and my MIL…but a really GOOD book
with actual pictures you can follow is Tracy Ulman’s book called Knit Together. I’d see if
they have it at the library. It’s nice to have a book when you haven’t done it for a bit and need
a little refresher!

This is a great post.. Very informative… I can see that you put a lot of hard work on your every post that’s why I think I’d come here more often. Keep it up! By the way, you can also drop by my blogs. They’re about Vegetable Gardening and Composting. I’m sure you’d find my blogs helpful too.
