		<description>I would love to hear how you celebrated Advent growing up and how you plan to do it now. I have researched it a bit but really haven&#039;t figured out how I would go about doing it in our family.

I read Hundred Dollar Holiday last year and it also impacted me. I feel the same way you do/ did about giving and receiving gifts. My heart still needs changing and I really want to get to my kid&#039;s hearts before they get too carried away with it.</description>

My husband and I don&#039;t exchange gifts.  We ususally make some gifts for the family.  Last year we made a DVD of photos from the year and framed artwork our daugher had made at school.  (Also a great way to cut down on the schoolwork clutter!) This year I am making photo calendars.</description>
