I love your posts. I found your blog from a link to a link to a link that led to your diaper sprayer post. Because of your blog, I found the link to your sister-in-law’s blog, which I also find adorable, and a whole realm of adoption-related-blogs where I can read about people’s stories. Thank you for letting the world in on this very un-talked-about topic, it’s been a very interesting way to live vicariously through all of you as I roll the idea of adoption around in my own mind. I haven’t adopted.. yet.. but it’s something I always assumed I would do someday.

Side note on myself: I’m a white girl from the midwest who grew up knowing I would have Chinese babies. We don’t have any Chinese people in my town, and I never really thought about it, I think it’s just something that God placed in my heart even as a young child. One day I grew up and moved away and got married.. to a Chinese man. Maybe I’ll birth my own Chinese babies.. maybe I’ll adopt some.. I still feel drawn to the idea.

Back to your blog, thank you for posting your story, for your humility, for your love of Christ. I appreciate your sincere heart. Just know that you are sharing with people who are truely interested or we wouldn’t be reading. We’re just shy. We do listen.
