Adoption
Praise the Lord! We brought home our son Brody, through adoption, on April 10th, 2010.
We may have our baby but we’re definitely still on our journey, and so excited about what God has in store for us.

Ours is a domestic adoption with Bethany Christian Services. You can view our family profile here. We’ve been through four miscarriages and and have one biological daughter. We are so thankful that God would grow our family through adoption and also use us to help fulfill one of his Biblical commands.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. {James 1:27}
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. {Romans 15:13}

We’re working on ways that, if it’s on your heart, you can help support our adoption (click here for a couple of ideas).
- Visit my etsy shop which helps fund our adoption!
- Love coffee? Visit our Just Love Coffee store where we receive $5 (towards our adoption) per bag of fair trade coffee sold.
Above all else, we covet your prayers that God would bring us the perfect child for our family in His timing, and that He would provide all our needs as we go through the adoption journey.
Don’t like coffee or beanies? We’d be grateful for any donation that you felt lead to give.

Hey Sweet Sister,
Your growing family is in our prayers. Can’t wait to see the incredible ways the Lord shows His power, grace and love through this adoption process. He is forever faithful and true. Love you guys!

So excited for you – can’t wait to meet your new little one! All in the Lord’s timing – I am learning a lot about that right now
Oh I’m thrilled for you and your family to have the oppurtunity to pursue adoption! My worker in Phoenix was just placed with FOUR daughters (ages 3, 4, 7, 8). Listening to the process has been quite eye opening, much the same as in CA.
Have you checked out Mary’s site http://www.owlhaven.net? There’s a link to follow through her adoption stories. Her 6 adoptions were international though…
Lots of love!
Allison
