Getting happy mail is the best, am I right?
I was thrilled to join in on Cuppakim's annual Mug Swap this year, having seen glimpses of it after the fact last year on Instagram.
I sent my fun little package off to an outdoorsy, adventurous mama-- sharing with her my favorite local state campground in the form of a souvenir mug and a photo. The last few times we've camped at San Elijo I've admired this mug with the cute spoon holder in the camp store so I thought she might enjoy it, too. I added a few goodies (including a homemade sweater beanie) to go along with it and sent it on its way! I hope she loved it!
I was a little concerned about my mug arriving, but it turns out UPS was just a bit slow and when it finally came, I was thrilled! The sweet Kindel from Willow White studios sent me an adorable hand-decorated mug/bowl (affogato, anyone?!!) along with some super fun-ice cream-themed goodies. My kids can't wait to try the reusable push-pop cones (remember the Flinstones push pops?!) and the little cookie treats have been such a special indulgence.
Swaps are such a fun way to connect with the blogging community. I'm already working on another swap item, this one for a particularly special occasion, an adoption fundraiser.
